qEEG/EKG

A qEEG quantitative electroencephalogram is a non-invasive test that records electrical activity in the brain. It works by picking up abnormal brain waves via electrodes that are attached to the scalp. In MeRT, qEEG’s are performed before, during and after treatment to determine coil placement and monitor progress.

An EKG (electrocardiogram) measures brain-heart coherence. Done simultaneously, these two diagnostics provide a comprehensive understanding of brain activity.

PLEASE NOTE: Brain Performance Technologies only treats children who are three years and older.
