Insurance Coverage for Interventional Psychiatry
The neuromodulation protocols of interventional psychiatry are covered by all major insurance carriers, but coverage criteria and authorization vary by carrier and can create a frustrating maze for patients.
We work with all major insurance carriers to obtain the required coverage for our patients. During our initial intake, please have ready:
- Information on any formal diagnoses
- Age
- Information on medications tried
- Information on therapies attempted
- Information on other medical conditions, including metal in the body
Note that we do accept referrals from HMOs, such as Kaiser, but you must have a community care referral. Call for details.
