Any caregiver of a person with autism can tell you that the hardest part of interventions and therapies is how slow the progress can be. MeRT (Magnetic Resonance Therapy) can accelerate the progress of existing therapies by improving brain connectivity and function. MeRT uses gentle magnetic waves to balance and stimulate specifically targeted areas of the brain. It is guided by sophisticated diagnostics and imaging.
These diagnostics include a qEEG (a quantitative electroencephalogram). The qEEG shows patterns of dysfunction that identify specific disorders of the brain, such as learning and behavioral issues, emotional disorders, brain injury, and others. The qEEG done on each patient followed by in-depth analysis by our scientific team creates a map that guides each individually tailored treatment plan for each patient.
The equipment used for treatment with a MeRT is FDA-cleared. MeRT treatment protocols have seen some incredible success in improving symptoms of autism such as speech improvements, eye contact, connection, and decreased rigidity.
We have treated many patients with autism, of all ages and levels of severity. Our technicians and clinicians hold these people, their well-being, and their families in the highest regard, and we are committed to walking this journey with you and your loved one with the utmost compassion and care.
PLEASE NOTE: Brain Performance Technologies only treats children who are three years and older.
