ADHD
ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) is one of the most common mental disorders affecting children and adults. Symptoms include inattention (not being able to keep focus), hyperactivity (excess movement that is not fitting to the setting), and impulsivity (hasty acts that occur at the moment without thought). ADHD is considered chronic and debilitating, and it impacts many aspects of life including academic and professional achievements, interpersonal relationships, and daily functioning.
There are three main types of ADHD:
- Predominantly inattentive presentation.
- Predominantly hyperactive/impulsive presentation.
- Combined presentation.
A diagnosis is based on the presence of persistent symptoms that have occurred over a period of time, usually 6 months or longer.
Our treatments can greatly help ADHD, particularly our MeRT protocol, which is far more individualized on frequency, location, and power used than many other methods. Research about brain stimulation treatments and ADHD can be found here.

PLEASE NOTE: Brain Performance Technologies only treats children who are three years and older.
