What are the Benefits of MeRT Treatment?

by | Jul 13, 2023 | MeRT

Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy (MeRT) uses magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain that are not functioning as they should, as determined by an electroencephalogram. MeRT is non-invasive and safe in patients without contraindications from age 3 up.

MeRT is an effective treatment for a variety of mental health conditions. Benefits vary but can include:

-improving sleep quality and reducing the problem of insomnia

-reducing anxiety

-calming the effects of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)

-alleviating symptoms associated with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

-providing relief from depression, including major depressive disorder, that does not respond to medication

-improving attention span and clarity of thought

-improving communication and language
